Connection to UseNet?

Hi!
I have an interest in putting together a Squishdot-site. However, it would be a requirement that people could post to it and read it without www-access. That is a newsserver interface would be usefull. Is there something like this available/in the making?
Regards,

Gerhard

This would be very hard right now. Squishdot is very much integrated into the Zope framework and there are currently no plans to serve up data via a newsgroup interface.

You could make some modifications to Squishdot so that new postings/replies could be emailed to a newsgroup server or mailing list, but picking up new postings or replies from the news group would be another matter.
