Read counter?
Squishdot Posted by on Monday July 28, 07:58AM, 2003
from the dept.
Is there any simple solution how to display number of reads for each message as can be seen in many forums/message boards?

Unfortunately storing counters like this in ZODB is 'bad'.

You'd need to get a relational database up and running and store the information there.

How good are you at programming?

cheers,

I am not a programmer. How about FSCounter - maybe it can be adopted for this?
