Suggestion: make replies non-moderated.
Squishdot Posted by on Tuesday November 09, 04:38PM, 1999
from the here's-an-concept dept.
I can understand the need to moderate postings, but how about making replies non-moderated, so readers don't have to wait for replsies to show up..?

It's a bit frustrating, not to mention counter-productive to delay replies to various queries, particularly if they are user provided. Until and unless abuse of this function happens, I think it is perfectly alright to open up the reply function publically. What's everyone else think? Harry

I totally agree. The replies on the squishdot-like system I'm developing won't have pre-moderated replies. I am however making a public moderation system more similar to /.

If you have suggestions on how to the mathematics on scoring should work out, I'd love to have you email me with them.
