Performance of Zope and Squishdot

I only get 3.64 pages/s where i access the my demo Squishdot server. Platform: FreeBSD 3.3 4CPU Xeon 512M RAM FAST SCSI DISK

How can improve the performace and scalebility of Zope and Squishdot?

There's a bug in the 0.3.0 where accessing
a page causes a Zope transaction to be committed.
I am currently trying to fix this so the performance may be a lot slower because of this.
