Exporting Posts and Articles?

Is there a way to save or export articles or messages in some standard format that can be used to import them, e.g., into a database or a different message system or whatever?

Well, a .zexp created using the Export button in the ZMI will be able to give you XML, but it might not be that useful.

Probably the best thing would be to write an external method that iterated through the postings in the site and spewed out what you needed.

cheers,

Chris

PS: At some point, I'll be writing something precisely like that to handle migration to Swishdot.
