Squishdot's Article Posting Date-Time Format
Squishdot Posted by pradeep atluri on Monday March 05, 03:12PM, 2001
from the no-doubt-obvious-and-unwelcome-question dept.
Hello all. Is there some relatively simple way to have the year show up in the article posting date line? I notice that on this site (and on the site I'm setting up using squishdot) the posting time is in the format: {day-of-the-week} {day-of-the-month} {month}, @{hour:min}. I'd like to change this to something like "2001 March 5 (Monday) @ 2:30 pm".

    Just for a laugh, I changed Squishdot.org to check this out :-)

    For you, basically change all occurences of:
    <dtml-var date_posted>

    in posting_html to:
    <dtml-var "date_posted(fmstr='%Y %B %d (%A) @ %I:%M %p)">

    The documentation for python's strftime method will gibve you mroe details what all the funny %x's do.

    HTH,

    Chris
