Article search bringing up nothing with recent Windows 2000 installation
Squishdot Posted by Suzette Ramsden on Tuesday December 19, 04:34PM, 2000
from the dept.
I recently upgraded my server to Windows 2000. I had implemented my squishdot site and posted some articles. I reviewed some articles and left some un-reviewed. Now, the articles are being posted and reviewed, but are being retrieved when I select the icon which is supposed to bring up all the articles with the same topic subject.

I even tried re-installing and posting some articles with the default squishdot site to see if it was something I was changing that was affecting it...even the default site is not working propoerly when retrieveing all the articles for a particular topic subject. Is Zope and Squishdot compatible with Windows NT 2000? I keep getting the error "No messages were found matching your query." Could somebody please tell me what's going on!

    Hi Suzette,

There's a definite bug here which I'll try and fix over Christmas. The workaround is to hit the 'Re-catalog all postings' button on the Options management screen.

Please note bugs should be posted to The Bug Tracking System and not to Squishdot.org.

    Thanks,

    Chris

This has been fixed in the CVS and will be available in the next released version of Squishdot.

    cheers,
