Moving feature posts to Features column.
Squishdot Posted by Bob Dushok on Thursday September 21, 08:10PM, 2000
from the The new and slightly confused department! dept.
I've just installed Zope and Squishdot here and it's working great. I love it! One question.... I posted a feature post to my site and expected it to automatically appear in the "feature" column on the right side of the main page. It didn't. I installed the site with the slash samples, and those features are still displayed in the feature column. How can I move my story, or anyone someone posts, to the feature column? Thanks! Bob

Squishdot doesn't add to that column automatically. You have to go into the Zope management screens and edit the boxes manually; they're in Zope -> Squishdot Site -> rightbox_methods -> features

We've done this at www.openideaproject.org. The 'Projects' rightbox is generated automatically using the attached DTML.

Just change the #if "subject == 'Projects' with whatever TopicSubject you want to generate a list for.

This will probably change with PTK, and there's probably to do the same thing with ZCatalog. We wrote it before ZCatalog support in Squishdot.

How do the artiles expire as they normally would and fall dead in the right box?
