Squishdot and Zope 2.2
Squishdot Posted by Chris Withers on Tuesday August 29, 06:58PM, 2000
from the kindof dept.
Squishdot 0.7.0 is now available and works with Zope 2.2.

However, it uses some nasty stuff to do so, which I'm not entirely happy about. When I fix it, I'll do a 0.7.1 release. When the initial rush of bugs from that is fixed, I'll release it as Squishdot 1.0.0.

Keep your eyes peeled for Swishdot (Squishdot for the PTK) which I'll be starting work on in the very near future...

cheers,

Chris

    well, the deletion of postings does not work, you get a traceback.

    the fix is very simple: in squishdot.py there is a line

    self.uncatalog_object(obj, join self.getPhysicalPath(),'/')+obj.thread_path()+'/'+`id`)

    simply remove the first paramter. i don't know if the interface of this method in the ZCatalog was changed with zope 2.2 or if the bug is in squishdot.

    btw: the method "uncatalog_object" is called in different lines.

      can you state explicitly the param which should be removed?

      cheers,

        change

        self.uncatalog_object(obj, join self.getPhysicalPath(),'/')+obj.thread_path()+'/'+`id`)

        to

        self.uncatalog_object(join self.getPhysicalPath(),'/')+obj.thread_path()+'/'+`id`)

      ...that's checked into the CVS now.

      0.7.1 will have that fixed...
