Adding fields to squishdot articles
Squishdot Posted by Miguel Peirano on Wednesday August 23, 06:09AM, 2000
from the dept.
I am customizing squishdot to build a print magazine site. ( You can check it out here ) So far so good but I need to add fields (like author, dept, subject) to the structure of the article.

I tried modifying squishdot.py and managed to get the new fields showing in previewPosting, but nothing gets posted. Postings entered after modifying squishdot.py don't bark if asked to display the new fields, but but never display them. If I modify showError, addPosting won't work.

Any ideas please?

thanks
Miguel Peirano

    Miguel,

All the fields you mentioned (author, dept, subject) are standard in Squishdot. How and why are you trying to add them again?!

I think a bit mroe explanation is needed before anyone can help :-S

    cheers,

    Chris
