State of Squishdot.org
Squishdot Posted by Bruce Perens on Tuesday June 13, 10:15PM, 2000
from the dept.
Nobody is maintaining Squishdot.org at the moment. Chris, who is continuing development on Squishdot, will take over the site in about two weeks, but he's on vacation right now.

Thanks

Bruce

Well, I'm back now and I'd love to get going on this, but I haven't had any response from emails to Bruce :/

Anyone know how to contact him?

Also, I'd like to 'officially' take over the role of Squishdot Maintainer unless Butch has any objections. To do this I need to contact Butch, but that also seems to be a bit of an impossibility :(

    Any ideas anyone?

Maybe the maintenance of squishdot.org is not an emergency.
I have a few concerns regarding the ability to update an old squishdot 0.3.2 site toward a 0.4.0 version.
      a) isn't working. I'm running zope 2.1.6, I tried different things, among them the modification of lexicon.py and UnTextIndex.py... I didn't get rid of the Key Error bug.
      b) isn't working. I tried zope 2.2.0b3. Then, acting as the Zope su, i'm asked a password for my squishdot sites. I can't log in any of these, using any of the registered user.
Thus, i'm currently stuck with the older version. Any clue anyone ?

        a) you're not very specific in saying 'isn't working'. How about some error messages and tracebacks? ;-)

        b) Squishdot doesn't work in Zope 2.2 right now.
