Why do I have login to connect to squishdot

from the dept.
I have install Squish dot and thought all was OK but when I stike up a new browser and go to my site eg http://mymachine/squishdot/ I get something like a .htacces password prompt how do I stop this tia

    Click the Security tab and look at the permissions. Anonymous should have permission to:
    Access contents information, Query tinytable data, Search ZCatalog, Use database methods, View.

      I also had to give anonymous permissions to moderate postings!
