The ACP, a new site using Squishdot
Squishdot Posted by Jordi on Tuesday January 25, 10:46PM, 2000
from the dept.
SinDominio.net is proud to present the ACP (Agencia en Permanente Construcción), a new Spanish-speaking oriented forum that aims to open a space of antagonistic communication for libertarians.
We have tried to come up with a new look for Squishdot and the Webmasters would be very happy to share it with all of you.
The site is not fully operational, we are still working in the visualization part but it's more or less it.

We want to thank all the people that work on Squishdot, the ACP would not be possible without them.

Just a request. Maybe you could add some information acknowledging that you used squishdot and a link back to this site (http://squishdot.org) would be nice.

    Very nice layout, BTW.

    Gracias,

Count on it, I planned to propose this to the other members of the ACP team but first I'll have to find my head.
We will probably use the `Squish·Dot Powered' banner at the end of Squishdot.org for the link, if you don't mind.

      Thank you!

Hate to point out a problem:

It appears you're having a similar issue with your site I was having. When accessing the page from IE 5.0 the images dont load (did you use the Redirect command in httpd.conf?).

    I found using

    ProxyPass / http://www.domain.net:8080/folder
    ProxyPassReverse / http://www.domain.net:8080/folder
    ProxyPass /Images http://www.domain.net:8080/folder/Images

Will cure the issue and save IE users having to reload the page. Bear in mind that the above will redirect sites to a tld to the other folder. so www.mydomain.net leads to www.mydomain.net:8080/folder.

Hope this helps. The site looks great other than that.

      Hi there Jared,
Forwarding your request to webmasters. I'll probably contact you through email, in a couple of days.

      Thanks for the interest!

I hope you read this, Jared.
I emailed you but the message was returned, so I'm posting here.

      Hello Jared!

Regarding your request for our SquishDot modifications,

I had a talk with SinDominio's assembly and we agree that we want to make our work public. There is one question, anyway. You know our site is not 100% finished yet, but it's near completion. Do you want to wait for the final modifications, or would you like a tarball with the project "as is"?

Your choice. Anyway, after we reach our "version 1.0", we intend to place an updated tarball in our ftp site.

      Thank you for your interest,

      Jordi
