Attaching more than one file to an article
Squishdot Posted by Diogenes on Thursday December 23, 09:06PM, 1999
from the I don't even have a clue dept.
How do I attach more than one file to a posting?
I am setting up a news discussion site in which I would like to include (zips and docs) for my guests. I have tried several different ways to upload or attach more than one file to a thread. Is this even possible?

Some of my files are more than 2.5 MB each.

For example....I would like to distribute and SDK that I am working on as well as a separate DOC which contains the user manual.

Thanks for any help.

I don't think there's any quick way to do this except to modify the python source code to process for additional "file" input fields. Other than that, I don't see any reason why it can't be done.

Of course, once you start on this path, keeping up with the upgrades will be much harder (Ummm..., figure out what changed between versions, check to see if the change is applicable, apply the change, test, etc...)

A quick solution is to create a folder in Zope where users can upload files. When you post an article you can reference files in the upload directory.
