Migrating from PHPNuke to Squishdot
Squishdot Posted by Matteo on Tuesday July 22, 02:08PM, 2003
from the dept.
I would like to migrate my website from PhpNuke to Squishdot. From my Phpnuke's mysql database I can extract the titles, authors, bodies,... of all the postings: but how can I write a method (a python script?) that adds all my phpnuke posting?

Create your Squishdot site and make it look like you want.

Then write a ZSQL method or two that select appropriate data from you SQL database.

Finally, write a Python Script that calls those ZSQL methods to get the information and then calls your_squish_site.addPosting as appropriate.

Give it a go, if you get stuck, post what you get here and I'll see if I can help :-)

    cheers,

    Chris
