Squishdot and Zope 2.6.0
Squishdot Posted by Chris Withers on Tuesday October 29, 11:16AM, 2002
from the ugh dept.

Squishdot does not currently work with Zope 2.6.0. Please stick with 2.5.1 until a new version of Squishdot is released.

If you can identify particular bugs (especially if you have solutions!) please post them here.

I am already aware of the following issues:

  • list.index(x):x not in list
  • vanishing postings

...although I currently have no solutions for either.

Chris, thanks for helping me out on this! Maybe you can also tell me what to do about the Zope warning I am getting when using Squishdot:

lib/python/SearchIndex/__init__.py:19: DeprecationWarning: The usage of the SearchIndex package is deprecated since Zope 2.4.
This package is only kept for backwards compatibility for a while

Please use instead the re-factored modules in Products/PluginIndexes.
