authentication for posting but not comments
Newbies Posted by Herb on Saturday March 16, 09:35PM, 2002
from the lots to learn dept.

In the security section, I set posting to authenticate but would like to allow anyone to post a comment. Is there a way to do this without creating a list of users?

AFAIK, there is actually no way to do what you want without altering the Squishdot source code.

    cheers,

Perhaps it would be possible to create an "anonymous" user, and posts would automatically go through that user.
